Students will have an opportunity to get sized and see the ring (and various materials, finishes, etc.) in W20 room 401 from 11:00am - 4:00pm on the following days:
- Sunday 2/11: open to all 26s.
- Monday 2/12: last names A-G.
- Tuesday 2/13: last names H-O
- Wednesday 2/14: last names P-Z
If you want to make changes to an order you placed online, you have 3 business days to do so. After that time, you will be assessed a $25 change of order fee. Changes could jeopardize delivery for the MIT Ring delivery event if they order late and request changes late.
All change requests must be emailed to mitsupport@herffjones.com:
- Provide your name, phone number, email, order confirmation number, and what your would like to change.
- You will receive a reply letting you know your request was received.
- You will receive an email when the change has been made with a confirmation of the details.
Please refrain from sending multiple requests for one customer to avoid duplication. Please allow the Herff Jones team two business days due to volume of requests.

Herff Jones stands behind each ring they sell. Each of the custom features of your ring are carefully and skillfully crafted. Herff Jones fully warrants the ring to be free from defects in workmanship and/or material for the lifetime of the ring. If the ring cannot be repaired or replaced, a refund will be made. The following services will be performed free of charge for life:
- Repairing defects in workmanship or material.
- Restoring the ring's original finish.
- Resizing the ring.

A special two year warranty applies to all Ultrium PVD rings.
Herff Jones' Lost Ring Policy (LRP) is designed to make replacing a ring as painless as possible. In the event of loss or theft, Herff Jones will create a duplicate of the lost ring. Your one time replacement ring will require a $180 deductible plus current gold surcharge, shipping and handling and applicable taxes paid in full at the time of the replacement order. This program is in effect for six (6) years from the date of purchase. Companion ring orders and accessories are not covered under this program. In the event that a student fails to graduate or changes class year from MIT, Herff Jones will allow the student to return their ring for a full refund. Trade in your Brass Rat for your new graduation year. Verification needed.
