Sizing

The 2013 Brass Rat is available in 4 sizes:  Extra-Small, Small, Medium & Large.  This does not strictly relate to your finger size, although there are some restrictions.  Large and medium rings can be purchased for size 7 and up.  Small and extra-small rings can be purchased for size 10 and down.

Metal Descriptions

• Celstrium™ – A fine jeweler’s stainless steel
• Balfour Imperium with Gold™ is a yellow alloy containing 19.2% gold along with other metals
• Balfour Premium Silver™ contains 80% silver and other metals, including palladium, which reduces tarnishing

There are a variety of finishes available for each metal at no extra charge

Engraving

At no extra charge, each ring will be engraved with the Hacker’s Map in addition to 18 letters, numbers and/or spaces (Most people engrave their name). Note that Greek Letters can be engraved but many fraternities and sororities impose a $50 licensing fee to use their letters.

Payment Options

• You can pay in full, use the credit card payment plan or place a deposit of at least $25 and pay the balance before the ring is delivered. There are no extra charges for any payment options.
• MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted. We do not need the actual card if you are using a parent’s card number but do need the expiration date.
• Cash, money order and personal checks made payable to Balfour are accepted for deposits.
• Interest Free Credit Card Payment Plan
  • You can place a minimum $75 deposit on each ring and pay the balance over 2, 4 or 6 months.
  • The payments are automatically deducted every 30 days from the time the first deposit is deducted.
  • You will receive your ring at Ring Delivery even if the payments are still being deducted.
  • There is no extra charge.
• If you choose to place a deposit and pay the balance before you receive the ring, it can be paid by one of these methods:
  • Credit Cards (MC, Visa, Amex, Discover): Call 1 800 996-8636 no later than Friday, April 29.
  • Check or Money order made payable to “Balfour:” Your check must be received no later than Friday, April 29, 2010. Send to:Balfour

• If you wish to pay at the Delivery Event, you may bring cash or a money order made payable to “Balfour” or a credit card (Amex, Visa, MC or Discover only). Checks will not be accepted at the Delivery Event.
• If you wish to pick up your ring after the Delivery Event, you can receive your ring the same day if you pay with cash or a money order made payable to “Balfour” or a credit card. If you pay by check, you must wait until the check clears before receiving your ring. Checks will clear in approximately two weeks.
